About Coach Tab

I have cheered 5 years in youth and High School. I was an assistant coach 1 year, and moved to head coach for the next 6 years. I was a Treasurer 3 years and Cheer Coordinator 1 year. I was part of preventing a local team from closing, that is now thriving, and invested in developing another competitive cheer program in our area. Now it is time for our very own West Coast Cheer to evolve and thrive! We're here to teach and develop a team of children the passion and devotion to cheer. I am not a mother to my own children, I enjoy working and volunteering for youth in our area, so know that I will always treat each child as if they were my own.

About Coach Sarah

Growing up I played Softball and Volleyball. I have always been a team player. I love to encourage others to be the best they can be and always reach for the stars. I love watching them grow and cheer their fellow peers on. I have been an assistant cheer coach for 6 years with a local youth team, a treasurer on the board for 1 year and was part of a new competitive cheer program in our area. Now I am excited to get started with our own Competitive Cheer Program, West Coast Cheer and watch the children grow into loving cheer!

About Coach Amanda

I am a mother of four, one boy, and my three teenage girls who love cheer and many other sports. I have been an assistant coach for Lindhurst High School cheer, this will be my 3rd year. I was an assistant cheer coach for a youth program for one year. I served as Secretary on a board for one season, and helped with coaching the new competitive cheer program in our area. Here we are starting our own program, West Coast Cheer! My girls and I are so excited for this season to begin!

Our Mission

Our mission at West Coast Cheer is to encourage young athletes to understand the importance of safety, disciple, hard work, dedication, tumbling, dance, cheerleading, structure, and most of all to be better than the person they were yesterday. Our goal is to allow each athlete to achieve and excel beyond their potential. Although our ultimate goal is to make each team competitive, we aim to focus on learning skills, balancing sports with day-to-day activities, and being part of a well-balanced team. We wish for our athletes to achieve lifelong lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and lending a helping hand to others. We take pride in promoting the balance of their relationship with friends and family at home and with their cheer sisters and brothers.
